Remove your portable drive using the same method that you normally use for your operating system; for instance, not while the computer is reading or writing to the device. You can click Exit in DriveSecurity Application but this operation is not required -DriveSecurity will automatically exit when you remove the drive.

A first line of ToolTip (mouse-over) on the DriveSecurity icon in the Windows notification area displays the version number (for example, 3.0). If ToolTip (mouse-over) doesn’t show version number then you have an older version (2.X and below) that displayed on the bottom right of the main dialog:
You can click the X in the upper right. Also, clicking the notification area icon toggles visibility.
DriveSecurity supports almost all USB drives.
